The greening of San Mateo

Two members of St Pauls church Finchley, London arrived in school to help with the garden project. Their fund raising and hard work together with the input of the children has transformed the desert environment of the school. Advice from a local priest helped us purchase suitable plants and trees. Neighbor's and parents joined in when they saw us planting in the street. As well as greening the environment we hope to use this in our teaching program.

Across the World workshop

The Jerusalem cross tells of the great commission to go into the world. In this workshop for teachers, we learnt about and made crosses from different continents and put them in a cultural context. We hope to use this in an intergrated approach to Christian education.

Mavis led a workshop for the teachers.
